The Poetry of the Eave

The soul of the EAVE 15600 collection is drawn from the iconic silhouettes of Jiangnan architecture. If you have ever stood beneath the overlapping tiles of a traditional waterside home during a soft rain, you understand the visual rhythm—the way each shingle tucks beneath the next, creating a texture that is both protective and beautiful.

Our designers translated this into a carpet tile. The surface of EAVE 15600 mimics those layers of roof tiles (“Wa Dang”), creating a tactile landscape of gentle peaks and valleys. It isn’t just a pattern; it is the physical manifestation of “delayed longing”—the Chinese aesthetic of Yánmián (绵延), suggesting continuity and an endless, graceful flow.

Material Integrity: The Strength of Softness

To capture the delicate mist of Jiangnan, we chose PA6 (Nylon 6)​ as our foundation. Unlike harder materials, PA6 offers a luxurious softness underfoot while providing the tenacity required for the German commercial environment.

The color palette is intentionally restrained—a sophisticated spectrum of Dai Grey (charcoal), Mist Blue, and Ink Wash. These aren’t just colors; they are atmospheres. The subtle tonal variations mirror the way light filters through morning fog, offering a visual calm that anchors high-stress office environments.
